Automatic Report Generation
Users can create reports without any specific report writing skills. Users can set their own column preferences for any enquiry screen from a simple selection list, and define the sorting, grouping and order by using 'drag-and-drop' functionality on screen. Whilst the screen is being manipulated, the system automatically generates a standard report based on the options chosen by the user. Automatically generated reports can also be saved as permanent reports that can then be edited in the integrated report designer. All automatic reports therefore act as a 'quick-start' option or template from which more advanced reports can be based.

Instant Messaging
Events automatically trigger messages that can be sent to an integrated instant messaging service within the system or via email. Users can subscribe to messages relevant to them. Sample messages include credit limit breaches and changes to static data that require authorisation. User hierarchies can be defined for transaction approval. Messages automatically inform the approvers when appropriate transactions require authorisation. Messages can then be sent on to other users informing them when transactions have been authorised.

Integrated Security
The system uses a fully integrated graphical report designer instead of relying on external third-party reporting tools. A consistent environment and seamless interaction between on-screen enquiries and reports result from this integration. Additionally user security restrictions are fully applied even in 'report design' mode. Whilst designing reports, users are still restricted to only the data they would be able to see in normal system enquiries.

Multiple Output Options
All reports created within the system can be set to produce results to a printer, to an email address / distribution list or to file. Files can be in a large variety of output formats, including PDF, Excel, Word, HTML and XML. If the report has graphs or charts, the report can also be saved to JPG or BMP graphic formats for integration into other documents.

Unattended Importing
A polling engine automatically imports data into eTC at user-defined frequencies. Previous day bank files can be automatically loaded into the system and reconciled overnight, providing exception reports ready for the start of the working day. Spreadsheets of market data can be loaded every user-defined number of minutes to allow intra-day revaluations.

Scheduled Reporting
Reports and data exports can be scheduled to run at user-defined intervals. Users can specify reports to run daily, weekly, monthly or at specific times / days through a simple scheduling 'wizard'. Reports can be produced to file, sent to printers or automatically emailed to users / distributions lists defined within the client's mail system.
