eTC operates seamlessly in both a traditional Microsoft Windows PC client / server mode and in a true Microsoft .NET environment. The key feature is that whatever user interface the client chooses to use they update one central database in realtime under full time zone control.

PC users can be connected via LAN, WAN or by using terminal services.

Web users connect by using a standard web browser via the Microsoft IIS webserver using the Microsoft .NET framework. To ensure security the web client is ‘ultra thin’ and involves no downloadable components and does not require the use of cookies.
