Cash Positions

Multiple cash positions can be created and stored for easy position analysis. Each position can analyse a user-selected range of accounts over a user-defined time series. Positions include all known cash flows within the system and can optionally include forecasted data or simulated deals.

Consolidated positions can be drilled-down into to show detailed activity by account and transaction type.

Security controls automatically restrict users to be able to only see their own managed accounts within the cash positions. Multiple treasury centres can easily operate with their own data on the same central treasury database, whilst automatically updating a global consolidated position.

Cash Forecasting

Forecasts can be input or uploaded using a web browser. Users can set simple mapping rules to allow standard spreadsheets to be defined for forecast submission or to easily use existing spreadsheets.

In addition to seamless integration with the cash positions, a full history is kept of all forecasts, their changes over time and the variations against actual cashflows.

Payments and Transfers

3rd party payments, intercompany payments and bank transfers can be entered as either free-format or templated transactions. All payments immediately update the cash positions, generate accounting entries and set-up settlement processing for subsequent printing or exporting to EFT payment systems.

Workflow controls provide support for remote entry and authorisation of transactions via a web browser. Business units can initiate and authorise funding requests or 3rd party payments that are then subsequently processed by treasury without any re-keying of data.

'In-House Banking'

The system provides extensive functionality for managing 'in-house banking' services to group finance operations, all available through secure web-based access.

Balance and statement enquiries, including full interest analysis, can be made in real-time. Secure reports and spreadsheet exports directly from the central treasury database can be produced through simple web-based remote login.

Electronic Bank Reporting

With full support for industry-standard file formats, including BAIv2 and SWIFT MT940, as well as configurable flat-file importing, eTC is able to import files from any number of banks or reporting services.

Users can configure individual rules matrices for each bank file being received. Account balances and/or specific types of transactions (e.g. zero balancing entries) can be identified and posted automatically.

A log is maintained for all automated importing, highlighting both the actions performed by the import and the items within the bank file that the system was unable to process.

Automatic Account Reconciliation

Electronic statements are automatically reconciled against the system generated account statement.

Users can quickly review matched and/or unmatched items. Manual reconciliation includes facilities to assist many-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many matching.
